ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
Cure Vitiligo was established in 2020 in Miami, Florida, by a teenager with vitiligo. Our goal is to bridge the gap between awareness about vitiligo and funds in order to find a cure. Due to the lack of awareness about vitiligo, there is no constant streamline of research funding. All donations go directly to Dr. Harris at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, who works tirelessly to complete this shared goal of finding a cure. Raising awareness for vitiligo will help normalize it and make people aware of this condition, making those with the condition feel more included.
RAISING FUNDS FOR A CURE
Little research has been put in for a cure for vitiligo due to lack of funding. With donations, research will be able to flourish and a cure will be found.

OUR FOUNDER
Liana was diagnosed with vitiligo in 2011 when she was six years old. Growing up, she would get teased and be stared at for looking different, making her feel self-conscious about her face and how she looked. After many years of trying to learn to love herself, in April of 2020, she decided to start a nonprofit organization to help find a cure for vitiligo. While a cure is still not available, it is Liana's mission to do everything in her power to raise awareness and funds so that those afflicted with vitiligo can take their image of themselves into their own hands.
